Criteria: Nominee displays enthusiasm for emergency nursing, provides compassionate competent direct patient care and develops own career through participating in emergency nursing activities and committees within institution while encouraging coworkers to do the same.

Recognize a nurse in an emergency nurse management/leadership role who has consistently demonstrate excellence in the profession of emergency nursing and has made significant contributions to the discipline.
This award honors a nurse whose career achievements reflect dedicated service, accomplishments and/or contributions to emergency nursing that have value to emergency nursing beyond the recipient’s lifetime.
This nominee should also be certified in emergency nursing (CEN, CPEN, CFRN, CTRN or TCRN), actively participate in emergency nursing performance improvement and serve as a mentor to younger, entry-level emergency nurses
