Apply to be a liaison and represent Utah ENA, advocating for the growing community of Emergency Nurses in Utah.

What is the Liaison Program?

  

The Utah State Council and Board of Directors recognize that there are many Emergency Nurses throughout the State of Utah. Many of our nurses work in various settings, including hospitals, emergency departments, free-standing emergency departments, and urgent care centers. Many of these facilities are in urban, suburban, and rural settings.

Have at least one Utah ENA Member assigned to each healthcare facility within the state and be a liaison between the facility (where they practice) and the Utah ENA State Council.

The Utah ENA Liaison will provide vital communication and updates to the facility where they practice and provide professional perspectives and key insights through active participation in state council meetings. They will represent UT ENA and share ENA information with your department.

The liaison position is one year, with the option to reapply if the member wishes to continue in the role. 

Interested members must apply through the Utah State Council and be approved by the UT ENA Board of Directors.

  •  Hold an active ENA membership (assigned to Utah State Council) and reside in Utah.
  • Commit to attending at least 1 UT ENA meeting per quarter 
  • Encourage your department to attend meetings 
  • Promote ENA and UTENA Event(s) Materials provided 
  • Once a month, provide updates (via email or text) to your assigned UTENA Board Member of progress and any challenges encountered.

  • Receive “Delegate points” to represent UTENA at General Assembly during the National ENA Conference
